Peter Sugett
Founder & CEO
Peter is the managing director and cofounder of KELF. Peter provides inspiration and guidance to his fellow managers and staff. He is in charge of directing the company’s operations to ensure effective and efficient completion of both short and long term objectives. Peter’s involvement in the day-to-day running of KELF contributes to the successful outcomes constantly produced for clients and staff alike. For example, Peter establishes and manages relationships and communication with investors, approves operational workflows, supervises staff, and performs risk analysis and management. Peter has 25+ years of experience in civil engineering, surfacing and groundworks, as well as a HNC in contracting management and an NVQ level 6 in construction management. Peter’s greatest working achievement is founding and successfully building KELF to be one of the leading Civil engineering companies. In his spare time, Peter enjoys football, going to the gym and family dog walks.
Ryan Sugett
Director
Ryan is the financial director and Cofounder of KELF. Ryan oversees every financial aspect of the company. He is responsible for the company’s short and long term financial health and growth, achieving positive results through establishing growth strategies, overseeing accounting operations, producing accurate reports on the movement of money within the business, and improving current practices to increase efficiency. Ryan has a bachelor of science in law from London South Bank University as well as commercial management experience. Ryan’s greatest working achievement is founding and successfully overseeing the financial management of KELF Civil Engineering. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with family and friends.
Yashil Singh
Commerical Director
Yashil is the Commercial Director for KELF. Yashil ensures all projects are completed within budget, offering the best value to the client through constant value engineering efforts. Yashil possesses a Civil Engineering HND qualification as well as a Master’s Degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management. Yashil has been involved in large civils, groundwork, and RC frame projects throughout his 15 year career to date. Yashil’s greatest working achievement is collaborating with stakeholders to complete projects from inception to handover in a variety of sectors. In his free time, Yashil enjoys watching football and spending time with his family.
Susan Mutyaba
Quantity Surveyor
Susan is a Quantity Surveyor at KELF. Susan’s main tasks includes preparation and updating of standard cost databases and profiles, preparation of take-offs, bill of quantity/activity schedules and analysing costings for tenders, managing subcontracts (pre & post contract stages), effective change control during the pre- & post contract stages, financial reviews, cost value report and cash flow forecast for internal and client purposes and finally carrying out site visits and inspection. Susan’s working background is an assistant QS for 4 years and a QS for 4 years across a whole range of projects in different sectors of the industry. I.e. civil engineering, landscaping, telecommunications. Susan’s working achievements include fulfilling complex project briefs on-time and under budget and maximised commercial results and profit margins for allocated projects. In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with her family.
Paul Cosgrove
Site Supervisor
Paul’s role within KELF is site supervisor. Paul manages a team of labourers while working onsite and operating machinery. Paul has more than 30 years of experience in all types of groundwork and enabling works. Paul's greatest working achievement is that, although he continuously works in dangerous environments, he still maintains safety among all his team. Paul enjoys tennis and values the positives in life.
Sean Thompson
Site Supervisor
Sean’s role within KELF is site supervisor. Sean is highly valued for his efficiency and detail in completing jobs, maintaining high standards, and adhering to tight deadlines. Sean has 30+ years of experience in carpentry, joinery, bricklaying, and groundwork. His greatest work achievement is working on the gas tank in the isle of grain. Sean spends his weekends golfing and gardening.
John Bordiniuc
Working Manager
John’s role within KELF is working manager. John ensures all sites and every worker is safe and working in good conditions. John’s role entails running the jobs and ordering materials for the sites. John has 12 years of experience in ground-working and experience as a site-supervisor and site manager. Alongside this, John has high skills in running multiple jobs at once. John’s working achievement was working in a commercial industry and building four blocks with 32 apartments and seven houses. In his spare time, John enjoys fishing and playing tennis.
Kelvin Easton-Parks
Surfacing Supervisor
Kelvin is KELF’s surfacing supervisor. He is responsible for the planning and programming of all surfacing work, ensuring it is scheduled within the correct timeframes. Kelvin has impeccable experience in tarmacking and specialises in resin bound. He was foreman of a handlay tarmac gang and resin bound gang from the age of 21 resulting from his hard work and devotion to the job.
Kelvin’s working achievement is being able to offer a first-class service to all clients by ensuring all works exceed their expectations. Further to this he takes pride in looking back at the end of each resin bound job to see shining and rewarding results. In his spare time, Kelvin enjoys carp fishing, motocross and football.
Chris Halvorsen
Supervisor
Chris is a highly valued supervisor at KELF. Chris’s role includes managing workflow, setting tasks and goals for workers as well as providing assistance and support, maintaining health and safety on site, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle whilst ensuring they are on schedule. Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He mainly specialises in groundworks but also has experience in formwork, brick & blockwork, plant operating and surfacing. Chris’ greatest working achievement is constructing the cross passages in the Dagenham tunnel. He also feels greatly rewarded in the quality of work that the public can enjoy and see when doing house builds. In his spare time, Chris enjoys making memories with his wife and children as well as fishing; allowing him to chill and reset.
